1. What Anveshan is
Anveshan is a career-discovery assessment and guidance service. It gives a student a report describing their interests, strengths, personality, and reasoning, and suggests career directions that may suit them. It is a developmental, self-discovery tool.
2. What Anveshan is not
It is not a clinical, psychological, or medical assessment, not a selection or entrance test, and not a guarantee of any outcome. Its results are guidance to explore, not instructions to follow. Decisions about study and career remain with the student and their family.
3. Honesty of results
Our matching is built by experts on established, respected frameworks. It has not yet been validated against large numbers of students, so we present matches as strength bands rather than precise scores. We aim to be honest rather than falsely precise.
4. Eligibility and consent
Anveshan is intended for students in the relevant grades. Students under 18 may use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
5. Free and paid services
Registration and the summary result are free. During our launch phase, the full report is offered free to our first 500 students. After that, the full report is available for a fee.
6. Payments and refunds
Payment for the full report is made by the method shown at the time (for example UPI). Because the report is generated individually and delivered digitally.
7. The AI Counsellor (Disha)
The optional AI Counsellor is an automated assistant that helps explain your report and answer career questions. It is a guidance aid, not a human counsellor, therapist, or professional adviser, and may not always be complete or correct. For anything serious, or beyond careers, please speak to a parent, teacher, or qualified professional.
8. Human career counsellors
Anveshan may introduce you to independent, experienced human career counsellors. Any session you choose to book is arranged and paid for directly with the counsellor. The counselling relationship is between you and the counsellor. Anveshan is an introducer only, is not a party to the session, and is not responsible for its content or outcome.
9. Accuracy of external information
Our report and Counsellor mention institutions, exams, courses, salary ranges, and opportunities as examples. These change over time. Please verify any such detail from the official source before relying on it for a decision.
10. Your responsibilities
You agree to give honest information, to use the service for its intended purpose, and not to misuse or attempt to disrupt it. The report is for the personal use of the student and their family and may not be resold or reproduced.
11. Our content
The Anveshan assessment, reports, and materials are the property of the Nirantara Foundation and may not be copied, resold, or reproduced without permission. Your own result belongs to you.
12. Limitation of liability
We provide the service in good faith and with care, but to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made based on the guidance, or for changes in the external information referenced.
13. Privacy, language, and governing law
Your use of Anveshan is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Services may be offered in English, Kannada, Hindi, and other languages; these terms are provided in English. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of Bidar, Karnataka.
